Happy Friday!
I know I'm a week late, but I promise it's worth the wait! Bumper links for you this month :-)
If you wonder where I post more, it's Instagram - but is what we see really as it seems?
When all seems lost - some good advice.
Paris banned cars for a day, and it was beautiful!
Speaking of beautiful - twinkle lights! If I could every room in my house would have them!
Something to make you smile - aren't these adorable?
Also, something to make you laugh - loved this post from Amber!
Knitting - we all know it's true!
Related: Franklin Habit tells the truth.
Apparently knitting is cool... but we all knew that already, right?
November is time for cozy things - not sure I could commit to making anything like this though!
Finally - 50 Happy Little Things.
Have a great weekend!

Link Love: September 2015
Wow! Is it the end of September already? This month seems to have passed in a blur of busy-ness! However that hasn't stopped me from finding lots of linky goodness for you all! It's a bumper lot this month, so grab a hot drink, settle yourself in your favourite comfy chair, and enjoy!
First up are these cuties! So adorable!
Creative re-imaginings of old photos - so cool!
Did you hear about THAT Taylor Swift sweater? Knitting fuses with pop culture!
Speaking of pop culture - is the RBF really worth all the talk?
Perhaps a cure to the above issues - can we all have awesome lunches like these? Please?
Interesting list of English facts - totally bringing back the "elf-choke" at the next available opportunity!
Handwriting is more than it seems...
Related: I've found a new obsession - snail mail is back!
Alongside snail mail - is knitting a lost art?
More knitting: we should all be picking up our needles this winter!!
You know I love my lists! Inspiration to be found HERE and HERE.
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Friday Link Love: August 2015
Wow! Where did August go? Seems just yesterday that it was the beginning of summer, and now autumn is fast approaching. I'm not complaining, of course - we are heading into my favourite time of year, when it's the perfect weather to cozy up with warm quilts, hot chocolate, a good book, and lots of knitting!
You know what's also fun on a rainy afternoon? Friday links!
Is red candy really everyone's favourite?
Hear hear, Neil Gaiman! Reading is the key to the future...
Speaking of books, does anyone remember Wishbone? Such a great show!
Thanks to a very talented artist, we can now see Disney Princes as they'd look in real life!
But Disney may have it all wrong, according to this open letter... an interesting perspective!
12 things for those who sew.
Knitting celebrities - some are quite surprising!
Words of Wisdom from Tiny Buddha :-)
Hope you've had a lovely August! I wonder what September will bring?

Friday Link Love: July 2015
I can't believe a month has passed already! With August the evenings will start to cool down, and there will be more excuses for knitting - yay!
Anyway, shall we get on with what I know you're really here for? I have lots of lovely links for you this month...
Something to make you giggle - honest food magazine covers! (Thanks Julie for sharing this one!)
These examples of modern texting are hilarious!
Extreme crochet: would you ever attempt anything like this?
A guide to wool - what is it and where does it come from?
I love Franklin Habit - his view on "click bait" made me smile!
Also, some wise words on letting your creative fears go.
Finally, some words on the Labyrinth of Life.
I hope you've all had a wonderful July, and I can't wait to see what August brings!

Friday Link Love: June 2015
Hello!
Did you have a good June? I've decided to make some of the features on here a bit more regular - I'm hoping to have a bit of an overhaul to make this blog a better experience for everyone! I'm thinking I'll share links on the last Friday of every month - gives me a chance to get lots of lovely things for you to read and be inspired by.
So, what are this month's links?
I loved this article on finding the WONDER of everyday life.
These interpretations of art make me laugh!
Thought Point: A Day in the Life of Pinterest.
I've set myself a challenge to read 30 books this year, and this list is providing inspiration!
Glenna gives some great advice on how to knit more.
I've not done much sewing recently, but compiling this board is making me want to!
Hope you've had a fantastic June!!

Friday Link Love...
Hello!
Just a small post for you today, but should hopefully get back into the swing of blogging now that I've finished all my essays! :D
It's very surreal to think that its all pretty much done now - and whilst I get my head around this newfound freedom from theory and complex academic debate, I will let you enjoy some interesting links! :)
Have you heard of DJ Earworm? He does the most amazing medleys of songs, and I particularly love this Carrie Underwood one!
Speaking of videos - this one is great. I'm a firm believer in the power of craft, and how it can help in stressful times :)
Can knitting save lives?
Something to make you laugh :)
My new favourite instagram - a daily dose of positivity!
Food for thought - more experiences, less stuff? Yes!
10 Things - Habits for Happiness :-)
As you can see, lots of stressbusting and positivity here - can you tell what's been keeping me motivated recently? :P
For those of you who follow my instagram, you'll see I've been working on lots of things whilst away from blogging - I will share more detailed pictures soon, I promise!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Friday Link Love...
Hello? Is anybody there?
Seems this whole blogging thing kind of goes in waves for me - sometimes I'm really good at it, and other times I get busy and it falls to the wayside. (Although I'm still very active on Instagram!)
Between essay reading and assignment writing, I have still managed to find some fun Friday links for you though!
These slippers are the CUTEST! Definitely will have to make a pair...
Yep! I can totally relate to this list.
Ever wondered what someone would do with 9000 post-it notes?
I have set myself the challenge to read 30 books in 2015... So far I've read 10, and am always looking for new books! Are there any you would recommend?
I'm really into doing my nails at the moment, as they are a little bit of colour to cheer me up, and Grace's nails are a wonderful source of inspiration!
I couldn't not include this video in the links - mom dancing is the best!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Friday Link Love
Happy Friday!
Seems like I've not stopped moving all week - this weekend is my last busy one before work deadlines, after that things should hopefully slow down to a nicer pace.
I've still managed to find some cool links for you though!
I love this room - so beautiful.
We can solve everything with a bit of knitted love.
You know I'm a fan of charity knitting - this project is a little different, but still for a good cause!
Looking forward to this book - I'm still a kid at heart!
Big Knitting.
Are you getting a lot of snow at the moment? Here's what you could do with it.
This video is mesmerizing - so cool!
Finally, why don't you treat yourselves to these cookies? I made some last week and they were great!
Have a great weekend!

Friday Link Love!
Happy Friday! It's been a busy week, and I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend with hopefully lots of tea and knitting!
So what has caught my eye on the internet recently?
Mollie Makes is celebrating their 50th Magazine, and with it has come some great blog posts! They share some creative advice here...
...and I'm hoping to complete this list of things before I'm 50! (I've already done 12 or so! Yay!)
These things to be learnt from knitting made me smile...
Who knew knitting could cause so much panic?
I'm so excited about this book!
Some people's artwork is incredible... I would have never thought do draw on a Starbucks cup!
I think I must be liking advice this week - some more words of wisdom here.
Oh to be out in the outdoors again - hurry up warmer weather!
This photographer's project was interesting - It's amazing what people read on the train.
How craft can change our lives...

Friday Link Love
I promise there will be some yarny content soon, but with January assessments, I haven't seemed to find the time to take pictures yet.
In the meantime, here are a few links for you to love!
Knitting has finally appeared in a commercial in a cool way! YAY!
Or how about this: yarnbombed bus, anyone?
These made me laugh...
I liked the advice in this article for artists (or anyone who creates things)...
Productivity tips (meant for students, but I thought it was good advice for anyone!)
And finally - this clock. Is it bad that I could stare at it all day just for the pretty colours?
Have a great weekend!!

Hello!
I hope you've all had a fabulous week - mine's been busy busy busy! The end of term always seems to be hectic! However, in amongst the busy-ness I have managed to find you some weekend links - enjoy!
Some interesting notes on grammar...
I think the fashion world has stepped into a timewarp - I've seen some of these trends coming back!
I LOVE Gilmore Girls, don't you? Here's the story of the "thousand yellow daisies"...
This knitting snow sculpture is so cool!
British countryside is pretty...
Who doesn't love Julie Andrews and Carol Burnett? Love their performances here and here.
Some New Year's Resolutions inspiration.
The weather is getting colder - time to break out the hot chocolate! This recipe looks good :-)
Hope you all have a lovely weekend - I'm going to be alternating essay reading with Christmas knitting... although I'm sure Christmas knitting may be my main choice! :-P

Happy Halloween!
Well, the pumpkin is carved, the candy is ready by the door, and I'm sporting some rather fabulous bright orange Halloween tights!
All that's left is to enjoy these Friday links :-)
I've made some of these this morning... yum!
This would look really pretty...
If you could facepaint as well as this, who would you dress up as?
As a fan of colour, I thought these charts were really cool!
These rooms... can I put them together in one big house to live in?
As if autumn leaves weren't beautiful enough... here's a way to decorate them...
So. Pretty. Anne and Gilbert forever.
I'm so glad I learnt how to crochet - now I can make these!
And finally, some inspiring words...

I'm so happy it's Friday, are you?
It feels like I've not done a Friday Link Love post in a while so thought I would share with you just a few things that I've found interesting or pretty :-)
These are cool... linking two of my favourites - clothes and books!
Some lovely words.
I adore following this pinner - eye candy for any knitter/crocheter!
Clever crafty ideas... corks as needle point protecters? Who knew?
Wishing I could spend my autumn evenings here or here...
Speaking of autumn... it's so nice to be pinning on this board again! I love this time of year!
Have a lovely weekend!! :-)

In the meantime, how about some Friday Links?
This is a cool transformation (Can you spot the sewing machine?)
We are heading into my favourite time of year, and I can't wait!
Some beautiful photography...
Something for your inner Harry Potter geek :-)

Hello!
I hope you've had a good week! Mine has been very productive - lots of projects in the works, which it has been good to see progress on :-)
Here are some interesting things to look at to start your weekend!
This is so interesting - the stories behind the seemingly "perfect" photos we see on the internet.
These are such beautiful images... magical!
I used to love Barbies when I was a kid (mostly for all the pretty clothes!) and some people still do.
Do you know the A-Z of Quilting song?
So true - I always knew Anne Shirley was a kindred spirit!
And finally, some inspiring words to get outside this weekend (makes me want to go for a walk in the woods!)
What are your plans this weekend?

Friday Links - quite a few of them!
Hello! I don't seem to have done a Friday Link Love post in a while... which means I have quite a lot to share with you! So get yourself a nice hot drink, a cozy seat, and enjoy :-)
I loved this article - as a student, I can totally relate.
Related - students know better than anyone else the importance of frugality.
More house love (there's always one!)
Can I live here? So pretty!
This is really interesting.
Some words to think about.
I need this poster! :-P
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hello all!
I hope you've been having a great week. It has been very busy around here, as I have been working, as well as getting ready for a visit from family. Hence the blog has been very quiet!
But fear not, I have been working on my socks for the KAL, and so I should hopefully have something to show you soon :-)
In the meantime, here are some links for you to enjoy :-)
Have a lovely weekend! I have lots of knitting planned... what are you up to?

- Can I live here, or here?
- Ooooh, or maybe living here in the treetops would be fun.
- I wish schools were more like this - the many meanings of "smart".
- I love these inspiring words...
- How cool is this artwork? I love how they are anonymously making people smile.

Happy Friday! :-D
Hope you've had a lovely week! Mine has been busy - spending time with loved ones, doing some work, and also this:
Can you guess what I've been doing? Yep! Weaving in ends for the granny square blanket! So. Many. Ends. I thought it would never stop! Luckily I had Wimbledon to keep me company, or I might have gone crazy... :-P
I have finished all the squares, and so it is just putting it all together now. I am hoping to get that done soon, so hopefully will have pictures of the finished blanket by next week! Yay!
I am so tempted to start calling this the "Yeti blanket" as it just seems to feel huge to work on. Everything is oversized, but on a 4mm hook that means there is a lot of work to do!!
Okay, okay, I'll stop going on about the blanket now, and get on to what you're probably really here for! Link Loves! Here are just a few things I've seen around the net recently...

- This building is breathtaking - so so pretty.
- Something to think about... I love how simple things can give us links with generations past.
- I couldn't agree more with these words.
- These photos are really great!
- Knitting funnies - how the world sees us knitters.

Hello! Happy Friday! I hope you have all had a lovely week :-)
Here are some things which have made me smile this week...
To live here would make me smile so much.
These words are pretty...
I actually teared up a little watching this video - what a nice thing for them to do!
I'm not the first to post this video, but I love it's message - it is so great to get kids away from the computer and creating again.
In fact, not just kids! This is a great article about adults and technology too...
Enjoy! :-)

Happy Friday!
Here are some more links to love! Without realising it, I do seem to be having a theme each week - this week it seems that I have been gravitating towards blog posts about interior design, and pinning lots of pretty room pictures on Pinterest! So here we go - a series of links about house stuff that I like...
Love this country cottage... oh and this one too.
This entryway is beautiful.
I love love love rooms with big windows - this living room and this studio are lovely.
Can I just say that the cozier the furnishings the better - like this and this.
I also seem to be gravitating towards circular windows - these are pretty, and the view from this would be great!
What would your dream house be like?
