Lazy Autumn Days

I love the outdoors at this time of year! Everything is so beautiful, breaking out in bright, fiery colours. So when I got a rare quiet morning this weekend, I decided to visit a nearby lake...

And after a lovely walk in the crunchy leaves...

 

There is nothing like a bowl of hot vegetable soup!

I am still here! Been busy playing with yarn and starting an adorable little bunny... as well as some Christmas knitting which I can't show you in case they read this blog! :-P

I've got mail!

Does anyone remember that movie? I recently watched it, and it's timeless. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are such a good movie pairing, and perfectly epitomises the reason for this post - the excitement of getting mail!
I love when things arrive in the mail, and no more so when it is a pile of squishy yarny goodness!!!
